THE FIRST PRINCIPLE OF SECURITY - #1

Millions of dollars each year are spent on security techniques, equipment and personnel. People install security alarms, video cameras, guard dogs, uniformed security personnel and some even employ bodyguards.

Why do they do it? It is done out of a sense of fear. Fear of physical attack, fear of having their property stolen, fear of having their privacy invaded, a desire to feel safe and secure in their own homes.

While these security measures are nice to have and make sense, not everyone can afford them. Sooner or later you have to leave the house and you can not necessarily take these security systems with you unless you can afford a bodyguard, which most people can not.

Anytime you leave home you increase your vulnerability. So, what do you do? How do you protect yourself when you have limited funds or no funds available to spend on security measures and techniques? Most of these techniques require considerable amount of money or training. Do you have the time and/or money to learn them? Are you physically able to perform them?

Fortunately there is one technique that you can use that costs little or nothing to implement, works probably 99% of the time, can’t be stolen, requires no wiring or electricity, is not affected by the weather, and you will not forget it and leave it at home. It’s called ……………………………………….

AWARENESS

Awareness is the most important security system you can possess. You can not buy it or rent it. It is not for sale. You develop it, all by yourself.
