FIRST-AID TRAINING - #2

It is time we start teaching things to our kids that will have some value to them as well as others.

And, while we are at it let us also teach them how to balance a checkbook, use credit, invest their money and save for their future. Let us teach them skills they can actually use when they get out in the world.

If you start first-aid training when they are young it becomes second nature to them after awhile.

It is easy to panic when you have not been trained to react.

First-Aid training teaches you to react in a simple and methodical manner.

It teaches you how to do triage, so the most seriously injured are treated first.

If you are screaming your head off in pain, chances are you are still alive, but what about the one who is unconscious?

He may or may not be more seriously injured than you, triage figures this out real quick so you get the aid you need as soon as possible.

You may have to be the one to make these decisions and then live with them afterwards, therefore you will want to have some proven technique to fall back on when this occurs.

First-Aid training is what gives you that confidence to act when others will not or can not.
